SpaScapes started when one of the founders in the company had a problem with his year old spa. Bill, a retail business veteran, had purchased it from an out- of- town dealer and had a problem with the heater. He visited the local dealer to inquire about repair. Upon learning the spa was not purchased at that store, the dealer refused service and the recommended repair company did not return any calls. Frustrated, Bill called a friend with a spa and pool repair business in Santa Barbara. In a couple of minutes he was able to diagnose the problem over the phone. With the part number in hand, Bill went back to the local dealer to purchase the part. Of course it was not a stocking part and it had to be ordered direct from a warehouse in West Sacramento. After attempting fruitlessly to obtain the heater element locally, Bill had it shipped from Santa Barbara. With advice over the phone the new element was installed and the spa is in use to this day. Amazed by the experience, Bill began to ask friends and family about their spa experiences. Incredibly, most had similar stories to relate. One of those people was Manny, it was his idea to bring a high standard of excellence to the spa retail and repair business locally. With a focus on customer service and the desire to offer the best products in the industry, SpaScapes was born.
